WHY OUTSOURCE?
Sometimes scheduling conflicts are inevitable. If there is no one available to step in and help you, and/or it does not make sense to hire another associate or other staff, a contract attorney is the way to go. If you have had to turn down new clients or cases because you have too much on your plate, you are turning down profit potential. Or if you have agreed to take a case at a flat fee and the case is going to take more hours than you originally estimated, your hourly rate will effectively go down. Hiring someone on an “as needed” basis will allow you to get your work done at a reasonable cost and accept new work that you want. Delegating work to a legal contractor gives you leverage to accept more work – and generate more revenue.
Using an independent contractor to field overflow work during busy periods allows you to weather those periods without having to hire an associate, thus avoiding the many administrative hassles and costs to adding a permanent, full-time employee to your payroll. Think of the long hours, looming deadlines, uncooperative opposing counsel, difficult clients, and missed family time. Outsourcing may be the relief you need.
Outsourcing research and writing to someone who excels at this aspect of litigation also insures that you produce high quality work products every time. You will then be able to spend more time on the issues you choose. This translates into happy clients, repeat business, and referrals.
Finally, hiring an independent contractor for discrete projects can actually increase your revenue. Most state bars allow an attorney to bill a premium, e.g. an amount over and above what he pays to the contractor, for work performed by that contractor, so long as the amount charged represents a reasonable fee for the services provided.

Besides being accepted into every top school in the US that I applied to myself, I have spent 15 years editing hundreds upon hundreds of essays. I learned from the advice of admissions committee members and counselors of the nation’s top schools exactly what they are looking for and how to make your essay pop and stand out from the thousands of others to show you, your achievements, your content in the best light.
With the Basic Edit, I will make sure that your content is effective, well organized, fascinating, and memorable and that it fully answers the question set before you. I will make your weak points strong points. I will also edit your grammar, typos, spelling, word choice, sentence structure, paragraph structure, organizational structure, correct any mistakes I find, and remove ineffective, detracting, vague, awkward or unnecessary passages.
Two copies of your work will be emailed back to you: a working copy that will allow you to review each of the edits and a revised copy with all edits in place. The revised copy will be ready for you to submit. You will also receive feedback explaining major edits and information that may help you with future essays and will have the opportunity to ask any follow up questions. The turnaround time is 5 business days.
With the Rush Edit, the service is the same just with a 72-hour turn around.
I have experience editing hundreds if not thousands of admissions essays from every end of the spectrum- undergraduate, graduate, law, business, and medical.
I also have particular experience working with international students and/or students whose first language is not English.
And because I run my own company, a huge amount of your fee does not go to an administrator leaving you with poorly paid, less than enthusiastic editors working on your essays.
